Usb Gps
How do I tell if I can use my car charger for my gps on my cell phone. They both have the mini usb?
Do I need to check volts or watts?? How can I tell? Happy Holidays!!
You have to check the specs or documentationon your car charger to see if it adheres to the USB power specifications as described at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB#Power
If your charger was designed/came with a specific USB device, the manufacturer may have cut costs by providing a fixed amount of power.
